About Me

Dexter John Autor Adlawan
21, 4th Year BSED - General Science
In the warm embrace of the seashore on the 3rd day of November 2002, in San Isidro, Davao Oriental, Philippines, a passionate and driven young man named Dexter John was born. Surrounded by the vibrant hues of sunrise over the ocean and the gentle whispers of the waves, I grew up carrying the hopes and prayers of my family. This idyllic setting instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and a yearning for exploration. With every sunrise, I felt a renewed enthusiasm to heed the future’s callings, eager to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead.
I am currently a 4th year student of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in General Science at UM Tagum College. As a Science student, we were taught to stay curious on things that interest us. I became the President of one of the academic organizations (General Science Council) in our institution which allows me to value critical thinking and courage that help me best in my pursuit to excellence. This whole peregrination taught me that an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

My journey through life has taught me that true fortune often comes from navigating the toughest challenges. One of my favorite quotes, "Rock bottom will teach you lessons that mountain tops never will," perfectly encapsulates my philosophy. I believe that those moments when we feel we’ve hit our lowest point are not just setbacks; they are profound opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

Entering this new door of opportunity gave me so much fear, but instead of fearing adversity, I embrace it, knowing that each struggle equips me with the wisdom and resilience to rise stronger. Join me as I explore how these experiences shape our paths and inspire us to reach new heights.
