The Future Integrated School is a private institution that offers three educational tiers: Kindergarten, Primary (Grades 1 to 5), and Secondary (Grades 6 to 9). Looking ahead to the upcoming academic year, the school is set to expand its curriculum by introducing a High School program, which will cater to students in Grades 10 through 12. This significant addition reflects the institution's commitment to providing a comprehensive educational pathway, ensuring that students have the opportunity to continue their academic journey and fully develop their potential as they progress through each stage of their education.
The Future School envisions a transformative educational experience from kindergarten to high school in Dong Thap, centered on nurturing individuality and maximizing student potential. This initiative has gained strong support from local and international communities, with a focus on five key outcome areas: knowledge, skills, emotions, health, and talents. The school's mission is to create a supportive environment where educators are valued and encouraged to engage with parents, fostering a partnership that enhances student development.
To equip students for success, the school prioritizes two main categories of skills: learning support skills, such as foreign language proficiency and computer literacy, and life support skills, including effective communication, teamwork, and leadership. The life skills training is woven into club activities, extracurricular programs, and family collaborations, aiming to instill responsibility, self-esteem, and moral values in students. Ultimately, the goal is to shape well-rounded individuals who excel in relationships and demonstrate a genuine concern for others.
The Future Integrated School served as our host for a four-day teaching demonstration, and my experience there was truly remarkable. I was thoroughly impressed by the students, the dedicated teachers, and the state-of-the-art facilities. Having attended public schools myself, I found the resources available at this institution to be extraordinary. Every student receives free meals, and they learn in well-ventilated, air-conditioned classrooms equipped with functional smart televisions for engaging lesson presentations. It was also surprising to see young children confidently using the elevators, a sight I hadn't encountered before.
The supportive atmosphere extended beyond the classroom. The teachers were incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to use their faculty room during our free periods, which fostered a sense of community. The school boasts an accessible library, a fully equipped computer laboratory for IT classes, and a science lab designed for hands-on experiments. Additionally, Kindergarten and Primary Education students have the unique opportunity to enjoy a kiddie-sized pool outside, enhancing their physical education experience. Overall, my time at the Future Integrated School was enlightening, showcasing a well-rounded approach to education that prioritizes both academic and personal development.
